What Makes Us Unique?

Special Educational Needs

The Basingstoke Alliance SCITT is led by Dove House School Academy Trust an outstanding special school and a unique feature of this training programme is the emphasis which we place on the knowledge of Special Educational Needs.  It enables trainees to develop a SEN specialism which will provide an excellent knowledge base for employment both in mainstream and special school environments.

“The culture within the school is fantastic and the attitude towards learning is the highest I’ve witnessed. The school aims to “make a difference” for every student and their families alike, it reinstated the reason why I wanted to become a teacher and gave me some fantastic work ethics and new teaching practises which I have taken back to my school.”
